POSTER SAFARI is a group exhibition in public space with works from twenty, by a jury selected, visual designers and design agencies. During Zurich Design Weeks, the large-format posters are hanging in the city of Zurich. An animation is also created for each poster, which can be viewed directly on site using an AR web application.

2024's briefing was: GOOD NEWS
"An ancient behavioral pattern makes us pay more attention to bad news than good news. On the other hand, we generously filter out good news because it does not require immediate action. With the theme GOOD NEWS we are putting all the good news from the design world in the spotlight and offering them a stage. It focuses our attention on progress, on sustainable ideas and innovations that make us optimistic. Because design makes the world varied, diverse, functional, inclusive, durable, practical, changeable, circular."

In the design process, we dealt with the everyday, small pieces of good news that everyone knows, but which are far too quickly forgotten. At traffic, commuter and nightlife hubs like Hardbrücke station, the small joys are quickly swallowed up by stress, hectic pace and loud sounds. While bad news dominate the headlines, our poster is intended to make people hurrying past pause for a moment to be reminded of the small joys of everyday life amidst the noise.
